On Friday, May 31, CES MMA hosted its 56th event from the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Conn.

In the night’s main event, the promotion’s featherweight champion, Bruce Boyington, put his belt on the line against challenger Dan Dubuque. Boyington had won two straight, including a second-round submission win over UFC veteran Sean Soriano in his last outing. Dubuque, meanwhile, had won four straight.

The card also featured the return of Nick Newell, as well as UFC and Invicta FC veteran Elizabeth Phillips, who met Jessy Miele.

The night’s main card streamed live at 9 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass.
