Combate ‘Campeonato Mundial de Peso Ligero’ Results: Garcia Earns Lightweight Title

On Friday, Sept. 20, Combate Americas hosted Campeonato Mundial de Peso Ligero from the Auditorio del Estado in Mexicali, Mexico.

In the night’s main event, lightweights Rafa García and Erick Gonzalez locked horns. The undefeated García had opened his career with 10 straight victories, while Gonzalez had earned back-to-back stoppages under the Combate banner.
