On Saturday, April 27, Bellator MMA hosted its 220th event from the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.
In the night’s main event, welterweight champion Rory MacDonald put his belt on the line against fellow UFC veteran Jon Fitch. The bout also served as a quarterfinal bout in the promotion’s grand prix tournament.
Gold was also on the line in the co-main event as undefeated women’s flyweight champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane defended against Veta Arteaga.
The event kicked off with a preliminary-card stream live on DAZN at 7:30 p.m. ET. The main card followed at 10 p.m. ET, also on DAZN.
