Rear-Naked Choke Radio: A Look Back at UFC 205, Conor McGregor’s Future

You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t watch UFC 205, so let’s just skip the lede.

Amy Barton (@AmesBelle) joined the UFC 205 preview show and returned to discuss the aftermath on Rear-Naked Choke Radio with Jason Kelly (@JayKellyMMA).

Barton is the former host of Punch Drunk Radio and social media handler of MMA DieHards. She may not be in the MMA media game anymore, but she still keeps tabs on the UFC.  The self-proclaimed “Kick Ass Wonderchick” is joining us for back-to-back shows to discuss the history-making event that is UFC 205.

If you’re an MMA fan living under a rock, you may not know Conor McGregor now holds the UFC lightweight and featherweight belts. You might not have heard about the “Fight of the Night” between UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson. Maybe you didn’t know Miesha Tate retired. Perhaps you don’t know what sarcasm is, just saying.

Basically, what we’re saying is, there’s not a lot to tell you about the event that smashed pay-per-view buys and UFC live gate records, because you obviously watched it. You’re here, you’re listening and we’re talking UFC 205.

In the words of referee Big John McCarthy, “Let’s Get It On!”
