On Friday, Nov. 30, the UFC will host The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale from the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas.
In the night’s main event, former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos clashes with wrestling stalwart Kamaru Usman in a welterweight match-up. The Brazilian dos Anjos aims to bounce back from an interim title defeat to Colby Covington at UFC 225. Prior to that, he had reeled off three straight wins after moving up to 170 pounds. Usman, meanwhile, has yet to taste defeat in the Octagon. “The Nigerian Nightmare” has won eight straight under the UFC banner, most recently defeating former title challenger Demian Maia in May.
Also on the card, the promotion will crown the winners of the 28th season of its flagship reality series, The Ultimate Fighter. The season featured fighters competing in the women’s featherweight and men’s heavyweight divisions.
The event kicks off Friday with a live preliminary-card steam live on UFC Fight Pass. Four additional preliminary-card bouts follow on Fox Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET, with the six-fight main card airing live at 10 p.m. ET, also on Fox Sports 1.
The fighters hit the scales on Thursday, Nov. 29. Results will be posted as soon as they become available.
