Janet Todd (L) (ONE Championship)

Two Women’s Title Fights to Headline ONE Fight Night 20

The women of ONE Championship will take center stage on International Women’s Day at ONE Fight Night 20.

On Wednesday, the promotion announced two rip-roaring battles for the Friday, Mar. 8, event.

ONE atomweight kickboxing world champion Janet Todd will battle the divisional interim champ Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom in a unification bout that will also serve as the American’s retirement bout, per SI’s Justin Barrasso.

Phetjeeja grabbed gold last year when she stunned Anissa Meksen en route to a unanimous decision win. The 22-year-old Thai phenom effortlessly moved into kickboxing against one of the greatest of all time and looked like she was the seasoned veteran in the sport.

Todd returns to action for the first time since failing to unify the Muay Thai title against Allycia Hellen Rodrigues. She’ll be hoping to ride off into the sunset by defending her kickboxing crown one more time.

As for Rodrigues, the Brazilian will be on the card as well. The ONE atomweight Muay Thai champion will defend her crown against Cristina Morales.

Morales put together an impressive performance against Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak last November, defeating the Thai star by TKO in the first round. That win has now earned her the chance to start a new reign in the atomweight division if she can topple Rodrigues. However, the defending champion has been sensational in ONE Championship so far, and she has wins over Stamp Fairtex and Todd on her slate. Beating her may prove to be a tall task on March 8.

The women will feature heavily at ONE Fight Night 20, which is already shaping up to be an action-packed night in Bangkok, Thailand.

ONE Fight Night 20 airs live on Prime Video on Friday, March 8. The event is free for all Amazon Prime subscribers based in the U.S. and Canada. The action begins at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST.
