On Sunday, Dec. 17, Kunlun Fight traveled to Zunyi, China, for Kunlun Fight 68.
In the night’s main event, the one-night, eight-women Legend of Mulan tournament champion was crowned. The tournament featured top female MMA prospect Weili Zhang, WGP Kickboxing vet Elaine Lopes, American Magalie Alvarez, 17-year-old Australian Alma Juniku, Italy’s Debora Vacirca, and a group of Chinese fighters including Xu Yi, Guan Acui and Chang Ningning.
In the evening’s main card action, the No. 1-ranked welterweight in the world, Artur Kyshenko, returned to the ring against 2016 Tatneft Cup 80-kilogram tournament champion Andrey Chekhonin. Top pound-for-pound female fighter Wang Kehan returned against Lion Fight veteran Paola Cappucci and Latvia’s Arturs Gorlovs took on China’s Guo Wenjie.
The event featured the opening round of the 100+ kilogram tournament, which featured top-10 heavyweight Roman Kryklia, WGP Kickboxing heavyweight champ Felipe Stievano Micheletti, Brazilian boxer Jairo Kusunoki and popular Chinese kickboxer Ashihati.
