On Saturday, Aug. 5, M-1 Global traveled to Helsinki, Finland for M-1 Challenge 82.

In the night’s main event, Bellator veteran Mikhail Zayats returned to the cage for the first time in three and a half years against CAGE light heavyweight champion Marcus Vänttinen. Zayats returned to the promotion after picking up wins over UFC veteran Renato “Babalu” Sobral, Jacob Noe and Aaron Rosa. Vänttinen holds wins over UFC veterans Joachim Christensen, Edwins Dewees, Ron Faircloth and Ivan Serati.
