Robin van Roosmalen vs. Kevin VanNostrand Headlines GLORY 52 in Los Angeles on March 31

GLORY Kickboxing is returning to Los Angeles.

The promotion has announced that it will visit the Pacific Room at the Long Beach Arena on Saturday, March 31 for its 52nd event.

In the night’s main event, featherweight champion Robin van Roosmalen will square off with interim champion Kevin VanNostrand in a title unification bout. Van Roosmalen, a former lightweight champion, was last in action at GLORY 45 in Amsterdam, defeating Serhii Adamchuk by decision. VanNostrand captured interim gold at GLORY 48 in New York last December, knocking out Anvar Boynazarov with a knee to the body.

The co-main event will feature recent Kunlun Fight tournament winner Marat Grigorian against Bulgarian Stoyan Koprivlenski. Whichever fighter comes out victorious will face the winner of the Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong-Christian Baya lightweight title fight slated for GLORY 50 in Chicago.

Also on the main card, the promotion will hold a one-night, four-man middleweight tournament. In one half of the ladder, former champion Simon Marcus takes on former title challenger Yousri Belgaroui. Another former titleholder, Jason Wilnis, locks horns with Canadian Robert Thomas in the other side of the bracket.

Prior to the main card, the GLORY 52 SuperFight Series will be headlined by interim light heavyweight champion Pavel Zhuravlev. The match-up will be a non-title affair against a yet-to-be-named opponent.

UFC veteran Chris Camozzi quickly jumps back into the ring, squaring off with veteran Mike Lemaire in a middleweight contest.

Women’s super bantamweight champion Anissa Meksen returns to the GLORY ring in a non-title, 53-kilogram catchweight bout against a yet-to-be-named opponent.

Also announced for the SuperFight Seres was the inclusion of Josh Jauncey and Zakaria Zouggary, whose opponents will also be revealed at a later date.

Broadcast details for GLORY 52 and the GLORY 52 SuperFight Series have not been finalized at this time, but the card will likely be split between UFC Fight Pass and ESPN 3.
