On Saturday, May 13, DEEP returned to Differ Ariake in Tokyo, Japan for DEEP Cage Impact 2017.

In the night’s main event, current DEEP bantamweight titleholder and former featherweight champion Takafumi Otsuka defended his bantamweight title against Japan’s Koichi Ishizuka. Otsuka defended his bantamweight belt for the third time. Ishizuka was previously unbeaten in his past 9 fights.
