On Saturday, July 15, HEAT comes to the Nagoya Congress Center Hall in Aichi, Japan, for HEAT 40.

The main event was one of fight scheduled title fights for the evening, which featured former DEEP title challenger Yasuaki Kishimoto clashing with South Korea’s Rae Yoon Ok for the vacant lightweight title.

In the night’s other championship action, one of Japan’s best flyweights Takeshi “Agar” Kasugai was riding a six-fight winning streak heading into his title defense against former ROAD FC flyweight champ Nam Jin Jo. HEAT bantamweight king Seiji Akao met Kunlun Fight veteran Seung Gu Kim. South Korean heavyweight Sang Soo Lee battled Pancrase 84-kilogram tournament winner Bob Armstrong.
