On Friday, Oct. 13, Paramount MMA hosted its eighth event from Magness Arena in Denver.
In the night’s main event, veterans Josh Huber and Zac Riley locked horns for three rounds. Huber, a longtime staple of the Colorado MMA scene, entered the contest having won three straight bouts. Riley, an alum of both LFA and RFA, looked to get back in the win column after having a three-fight winning streak snapped in his last outing. Huber took all three judges’ scorecards for the bantamweight title, after a close rounds two and three.
Josh Wick took lightweight gold as he outworked Dominic Montoya in a three-round clash, as he dominated the second and third rounds after being in trouble in the first.
