On Saturday, Nov. 16, the UFC hosted its 22nd event on ESPN+, touching down at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera in São Paulo, Brazil.
In the night’s main event, top-10 light heavyweight Jan Błachowicz took on former Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza. Poland’s Błachowicz entered the contest having won five of his last six, most recently knocking out former champion Luke Rockhold in July. The Brazilian Souza moved up to 205 pounds after alternating wins and losses over the last two years.
The event kicked off with seven preliminary-card bouts streaming live on ESPN+ at 5 p.m. ET. The main card followed at 8 p.m. ET, also on ESPN+.
