On Friday, Nov. 8, Bellator MMA hosted its 233rd event from the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla.
In the night’s main event, middleweights John Salter and Costello van Steenis locked horns. The UFC and Strikeforce veteran Salter had found a myriad of success under the Bellator banner, going 6-1 over the past four years. Holland’s van Steenis had also gained momentum since joining the promotion, reeling off four straight with three stoppages.
The co-main event featured the return of Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal, who took on Andrew Kapel.
The event kicked off with a live preliminary-card stream on the promotion’s website at 6:45 p.m. ET. The night’s main card was simulcast on DAZN and the Paramount Network at 9 p.m. ET.
