Combat sports enthusiasts won’t need vibranium to enjoy the newest boxing glove from Hayabusa.
Hayabusa, one of the premier combat sports equipment brands in the world, has announced a one of a kind partnership with Marvel to release the limited edition Marvel Hero Elite™ boxing glove. The new release combines the innovation and top-tier quality of Hayabusa with arguably the world’s most popular superheroes.
Aiming to avoid the gimmick pitfalls of past attempts to combine combat sports equipment with Marvel’s world of superheroes, Hayabusa combined the passion for creating amazing products with fans passion for heroes like Captain America, Black Panther, Thor and more.
“Sliding on a pair Hayabusa Marvel boxing gloves, you instantly feel like you’ve gained superpowers,” said Ken Clement, Hayabusa CEO. “The essence of the superhero, combined with the quality and craftsmanship of the gloves reset your standards. It drives a feeling that pushes beyond physical or mental limitations you might have felt. With Hayabusa gloves, you feel like a superhero.”
Hayabusa has been a mainstay in the combat sports world since 2006. Not only one of the most popular brands, the company has carefully ensured their equipment stands up to the wear and tear of professional athletes like Georges St-Pierre and weekend warriors alike. The company’s track history of success helped pave the way for the combat sports brand partner with the hottest collection of superheroes.
“Hayabusa has elevated the bar, marrying style, creativity, technology and true function to the Marvel Hero Elite™ Boxing Gloves,” said Marvel President Dan Buckley. “Hayabusa boxing gloves are beautifully crafted with a truly impressive design focus around protection and safety.”
The new release from Hayabusa features gloves patterned after popular characters like Black Panther, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Iron Man and The Punisher. Together with other heroes like Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Thor and others, the Marvel Cinematic Universe grossed more than $17 billion since the release of the first Iron Man in May 2008.
Pre-orders for the gloves will begin Feb. 19 on the Hayabusa website, while the product will be available for shipping in March.
