On Saturday, Dec. 16, the UFC hosted UFC on Fox 26: Lawler vs. Dos Anjos from the Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
In the night’s main event, a pair of former champions locked horns as former welterweight king Robbie Lawler took on former lightweight titleholder Rafael dos Anjos. Lawler rebounded from his title defeat to current champion Tyron Woodley by edging Donald Cerrone at UFC 214 in July. After back-to-back losses as a lightweight, the Brazilian dos Anjos had won two straight since moving up to the 170-pound weight class, including a “Performance of the Night” victory over Neil Magny at UFC 215.
The 11-fight event kicked off Saturday with one fight streaming live on UFC Fight Pass at 4:30 p.m. ET. Six additional preliminary-card bouts aired live on Fox Sports 1 at 5 p.m. ET, followed by the four-fight main card at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
