On Saturday, March 5, EFC Worldwide will hold its 47th event and first event of 2016 from the Big Top Arena in Carnival City, Johannesburg, South Africa.
In the night’s main event, the promotion’s featherweight champion, Danny Henry, will look to make the first defense of his belt against unbeaten Igeu Kabesa. Henry captured gold with a fourth-round TKO of Boyd Allen at EFC 44. Kabesa, meanwhile, enters the contest having won all six of his bouts inside the EFC cage.
The co-main event features long-reigning lightweight titleholder Leon Mynhardt against the aforementioned Allen.
EFC 47 kicks off Saturday with the preliminary card at 16:15 CAT. The main card followed at 20:00 CAT.
