On Friday, March 22, Bellator MMA hosted its 218th event from the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla.

In the night’s main event, former featherweight title challenger Emmanuel Sanchez rematched Georgi Karakhanyan. The pair met previously at Bellator 170 with Sanchez claiming victory via majority decision. Sanchez aimed to rebound from a decision loss to current champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire in his most recent outing. Karakhanyan entered the match-up having fought twice under the ACB banner in Moscow.

The action kicked off on Bellator.com with the preliminary card at 6:30 p.m. ET. The night’s main was simulcast on DAZN and the Paramount Network at 9 p.m. ET.
