UFC 229: Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor Post-Fight Press Conference

On Saturday, Oct. 6, the UFC will host UFC 229: Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In the night’s main event, lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov puts his belt on the line against former two-division titleholder Conor McGregor. The Dagestan native Nurmagomedov captured gold after a lopsided decision win over Al Iaquinta at UFC 223 earlier this year. He has yet to taste defeat through 26 professional contests. McGregor, meanwhile, returns to the Octagon for the first time UFC 205 in 2016. The Irishman failed to defend his featherweight and lightweight belts and was subsequently stripped of both by the promotion. His last combat sports action came last August when he was finished by Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a boxing match.

The co-main event also takes place in the lightweight division as former champion Anthony Pettis takes on former interim champ Tony Ferguson.
