On Thursday, Jan. 19, Combate Americas traveled to Mexico City for Combate 10: Enter La Jaula.

In evening’s main event, Steve Swanson was riding a three-fight winning streak into his Combate debut against Combate mainstay Gustavo López. The JacksonWink MMA product Swanson had stopped 10 of his 13 wins. López had won five straight before losing to bantamweight champion John Castañeda in his most recent outing.

In the night’s co-main event, Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc returned to Combate Americas against Mexico’s Lizbeth López Silva. Rivera-Calanoc has fought top competition in her career. She fought UFC veteran Jessica Penne and TUF 23 contestant Jodie Esquibel in her time with the top all-female MMA promotion, Invicta FC. Silva had won two straight fights since beginning her MMA career with three consecutive losses.

The event aired live at 10 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass.
