The UFC’s first trip to South Dakota has added another bout.

Combat Press has learned from sources close to the situation that a women’s bantamweight match-up between Lauren Murphy and newcomer Katlyn Chookagian will complete the lineup for UFC Fight Night 91 in Sioux Falls on July 13.

The 32-year-old Murphy is coming off a thrilling, third-round stoppage over Kelly Faszholz at UFC Fight Night 83. Prior to that, the former Invicta FC titleholder suffered questionable, back-to-back decision losses to Liz Carmouche and Sara McMann. Seven of Murphy’s nine career wins have come via strikes.

Chookagian, meanwhile, will be making her promotional debut. The New Jersey-based fighter carries a perfect 7-0 record into the fight. The 27-year-old is the CFFC flyweight champion and holds wins over Isabelly Varela and Invicta’s Sijara Eubanks. She has also competed under the WSOF banner.

UFC Fight Night 91 takes place Wednesday, July 13 from the Denny Sanford Premier Center. It was slated to be headlined by a lightweight bout between The Ultimate Fighter winners Tony Ferguson and Michael Chiesa, but Chiesa was forced off the card. As a results of the injury, a bantamweight bout between Michael McDonald and John Lineker was given the night’s top billing. The main card will air live on Fox Sports 1.
