On Saturday, Oct. 12, the UFC will host its 19th event on ESPN+, touching down at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.
In the night’s main event, former strawweight champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk clashes with former Invicta FC atomweight queen Michelle Waterson. Poland’s Jędrzejczyk has fallen on hard times, dropping three of her last four. She was most recently in action at UFC 231, challenging Valentina Shevchenko for flyweight gold, but fell short on the scorecards. The New Mexico-based Waterson enters the headlining affair having won three straight inside the Octagon. She topped former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz in March.
The action kicks off at 5 p.m. ET with the preliminary card streaming live on ESPN+. The night’s main card follows at 8 p.m. ET, also on ESPN+.
