On Sunday, May 13, Professional Shooto returned to Culttz Kawasaki in Kanagawa, Japan.
In the main event of the evening, former Shooto world champion Takeshi Inoue met the current titleholder Yutaka Saito in a clash of eras. Saito defended his title with a five-round unanimous decision win over Caol Uno in 2017. Inoue had not competed in over 20 months. However, Inoue picked up back-to-back victories over Yojiro Uchimura and Fumiya Sasaki before his long absence from the sport.
The event aired live at 1 a.m. ET on Ameba TV (Japan).
