On Saturday, Dec. 9, the UFC will host UFC Fight Night 123: Swanson vs. Ortega from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.
In the night’s main event, veteran featherweight Cub Swanson takes on the undefeated Brian Ortega. The 34-year-old Swanson rides the momentum of four straight decision victories into the headlining affair, including a lopsided decision win over Artem Lobov in his most recent bout. Ortega, meanwhile, has opened his career without tasting defeat through 13 contests. Like Swanson, Ortega rides a four-fight winning streak, but all four bouts have ended in the third round.
The 13-fight event kicks off Saturday with three bouts streaming live on UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. ET. Four additional preliminary-card bouts follow on Fox Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET, with the six-fight main card airing live at 10 p.m. ET, also on Fox Sports 1.
