On Saturday, Nov. 18 (in North America), the UFC hosted UFC Fight Night 121: Werdum vs. Tybura from the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.
In the night’s main event, former heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum clashed with Poland’s Marcin Tybura. The Brazilian Werdum had a quick turnaround, having submitted Walt Harris at UFC 216 in October. Tybura fell short in his Octagon debut, but had since reeled off three straight victories, including a decision win over former titleholder Andrei Arlovski.
The co-main event featured a women’s flyweight bout between Australians Bec Rawlings and Jessica-Rose Clark.
The 13-fight event kicked off Saturday with three preliminary-card bouts streaming live on UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. ET. Four additional prelims aired live at 8 p.m ET on Fox Sports 1, with the six-fight main card following at 10 p.m. ET, also on Fox Sports 1.
