On Friday, Sept. 26, Legacy Fighting Championship hosted its 35th event from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla.
In the night’s main event, the promotion’s light heavyweight title was on the line as Myron Dennis looked to defend his belt against unbeaten Brazilian Leonardo Leite. Dennis captured the 205-pound belt in March with a split decision win over UFC veteran Paul Buentello. It marked the third straight win for the Bellator veteran. Across the cage, Leite made both his promotional and US debut in the title tilt. The Brazilian Top Team product needed just 67 seconds to submit Elias Mendonca at Bitetti Combat 20 in June.
Also on the card, UFC veteran Daniel Roberts took on former Bellator fighter Derrick Krantz in a welterweight affair. The card also featured the Legacy debuts of renowned grapplers Rafael Lovato, Jr. and Justin Rader. Lovato squared off with Colorado’s Canaan Grigsby at middleweight, while Rader met Hector Arteaga in a featherweight match-up.
The night’s main card aired live on AXS TV beginning at 10 p.m. ET.
