Bellator 136: Brooks vs. Jansen Weigh-in Results

On Thursday, April 9, Bellator MMA hosted the weigh-ins for its 136th event which takes place Friday, April 10, from the Bren Events Center in Irvine, Calif.

The event will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between champion Will Brooks and challenger Dave Jansen. The 28-year-old Brooks rides a six-fight winning streak into his first official title defense. He claimed the unified title November with his second straight win over former champion Michael Chandler. Jansen, meanwhile, returned from a lengthy layoff in October, besting Rick Hawn on the scorecards. The Oregon fighter is a former lightweight tournament winner.

The main card also features kickboxing stalwart Joe Schilling, who takes on Rafael Carvalho, season 10 lightweight tournament winner Marcin Held locks horns with Alexander “Tiger” Sarnavskiy and former heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov meets Tony Johnson.

The event kicks off Friday with a preliminary card stream on Spike.com at 7 p.m. ET. The four-fight main card follows at 9 p.m ET on Spike.
