RFA 19 Results: Collier Submits Checco, Claims Middleweight Title

On Friday, Oct. 10, Resurrection Fighting Alliance visited the land of 10,000 lakes to host its 19th event from the Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel in Prior Lake, Minn.

In the night’s main event, the promotion’s vacant middleweight title was up for grabs as American Jake Collier took on unbeaten Brazilian Gabriel Checco.

The co-main event of the evening featured New Mexico bantamweight Abel Cullum against Minnesota product Carl Deaton III. Cullum was in action at RFA 18 last month, but stepped in on late notice to replace former RFA title challenger and UFC veteran Jeff Curran.
