Bahram Rajabzadeh vs. Kevin Oumar

Azerbaijan’s Rajabzadeh spent much of 2023 competing in GLORY Kickboxing’s heavyweight division. He won a one-night tournament to qualify for the GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix. The 32-year-old then defeated former interim champion Kevin “Cookie” Tariq Osaro before being eliminated in a close match by Levi Rigters. Rajabzadeh was the smallest athlete in the tournament and will now move to the light heavyweight division.

Rajabzadeh became a crowd favorite through his brawling and aggressive style. He pushes with maximum effort to knock his opponents out. The 32-year-old striker is best known for his head kick, and fans got to enjoy seeing him knock out Luis Tavares through his guard earlier in 2023. Additionally, the majority of his victories have come by way of knockout.

France’s Oumar will have the home audience on his side. Oumar has spent most of his professional career in MMA, having earned a 9-4 record. In kickboxing, the French-born athlete holds two national titles and five national titles in Sanda. This fight will be his debut in GLORY, and he is looking to upset the light heavyweight return of Rajabzadeh.

GLORY 91 will be headlined by a welterweight championship match, as Endy Semeleer looks to defend his crown against the top-ranked Chico Kwasi. The heavyweight division will see the French-born Sofian Laidouni take on Vladimir Toktasynov. And France’s Diaguely Camara will face Robin Ciric.

Rajabzadeh is a must-see fighter with his action-packed style. The striker will be aiming for a knockout victory. Next, he will be aiming for a title shot or an entry into the light heavyweight grand prix later this year. GLORY 91 will be hosted at Dôme de Paris on Apr. 27.
