On Saturday, May 4, the UFC will host its ninth event on ESPN+ from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
In the night’s main event, TUF 15 runner-up Al Iaquinta takes on former title challenger Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in a lightweight affair. Iaquinta was last in action in December, besting Kevin Lee in the main event of the promotion’s final card on Fox. Cerrone, meanwhile, successfully returned to 155 pounds at the promotion’s debut event on the ESPN networks, stopping Alexander Hernandez.
The co-main event pits middleweight Derek Brunson against TUF winner Elias Theodorou.
The 12-fight event kicks off with six preliminary-card bouts streaming live on ESPN+ at 5 p.m. ET. The six-fight main card follows at 8 p.m. ET, also on ESPN+.
