LFA 59 Results: Michaud Stops Aguilera, Gooden Dominates Newell

On Friday, Feb. 1, Legacy Fighting Alliance hosted its 59th event from the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix.

In the night’s main event, UFC veteran David Michaud took on fellow welterweight Christian Aguilera. Michaud had won three straight and five of his last six, with all five victories coming before the final bell. Aguilera saw his own three-fight winning streak snapped in June, as he fell to Matthew Frincu by decision at LFA 44.

Michaud came out in the first round and stopped Aguilera with a nasty TKO before the end of the round.
