On Saturday, July 29, the UFC will host UFC 214: Cormier vs. Jones 2 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
The event will be headlined by a light heavyweight title clash between current champion Daniel Cormier and former champion Jon Jones. The pair met previously at UFC 182, with Jones handing Cormier his only professional loss after five, hard-fought rounds. Jones was later stripped of the belt after multiple run-ins with the law and two positive drug tests. Cormier captured the vacant belt at UFC 187 and has gone on to defend it twice since.
Also on the card will be two additional title fights. Welterweight kingpin Tyron Woodley puts his belt on the line against Brazilian Demian Maia and a pair of former Invicta FC champions clash for the vacant featherweight title when Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino meets Tonya Evinger.
Joining the title tripleheader on the main card, former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler meets all-action fighter Donald Cerrone and light heavyweight wrecking machine Jimi Manuwa meets the surging Volkan Oezdemir.
The 12-fight event kick off Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET with three fights streaming on UFC Fight Pass. Four additional preliminary card bouts follow at 8 p.m. ET on FXX, with the five-fight main card airing live on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
The fighters will hit the scales at 8 p.m. ET on Friday. A live video feed appears above (courtesy of the UFC), while the results appear below.
