On Sunday, June 25, the UFC hosted UFC Fight Night 112: Chiesa vs. Lee from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla.
In the night’s main event, rising lightweight contenders squared off as The Ultimate Fighter: Live winner Michael Chiesa took on Kevin Lee. The 29-year-old Chiesa entered the headlining affair having won three straight, including back-to-back submission wins over Beneil Dariush and Jim Miller. Lee, meanwhile, had won four straight and eight of his last nine leading into his first main event. Lee’s last three victories had come inside the distance.
The card also featured a pair of former champions in Johny Hendricks and B.J. Penn, who faced Tim Boetsch and Dennis Siver, respectively.
The 13-fight event kicked off Sunday with three preliminary card bouts streaming live on UFC Fight Pass at 5:30 p.m. ET. Four additional preliminary card bouts followed at 7 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 2, with the six-fight main card airs live at 9 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1.
