This week on Episode 2 of Sunday Morning Cornerman, host John Franklin was joined by Frankie Edgar’s head coach, Mark Henry.
The two recapped the UFC 196 main card, touching on Corey Anderson’s win over Tom Lawlor, Miesha Tate winning the women’s bantamweight title over Holly Holm and Nate Diaz’s submission win over Conor McGregor.
Coach Henry went after the featherweight champion, McGregor, even claiming that maybe he doesn’t deserve to fight Edgar, not the other way around.
From there, the conversation turned to MMA coaching at a high level. Henry shared anecdotes and strategy tips of championship level coaching for championship level fighters.
