On Sunday, Sept. 27, ONE Championship held its 31st event, dubbed Oydessy of Champions, from the Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In the night’s main event, the promotion’s featherweight champion, Jadamba Narantungalag, was expected to defend his belt against Marat Gafurov, but a last-minute change resulted in Gafurov taking on Martin Nguyen for an interim title. Gafurov needed just 41 seconds to put away Nguyen via submission and set up a future unification bout with Narantungalag.
