Betting angles for the UFC are evolving, and Joe Rizzo (@RearNakedChoke) and Jay Kelly (@JayKellyMMA) took a deep dive into them on the latest episode of RNC Radio.

The event in review was UFC Fight Night 73, in which Glover Teixeira defeated Ovince Saint Preux in the main event in Nashville, Tenn. Rizzo and Kelly reviewed their picks, scrutinized their strategies and explained why some of their plays were good and others were not so much. There was discussion and analysis of the luck that gave Beniel Dariush a split decision win over Michael Johnson, and what it means to players when the judges make an egregious decision.
Rizzo and Kelly laid out potential opponents for some of the events’s winners and losers. They also looked at possible plans to benefit growing the UFC’s flyweight and women’s bantamweight divisionsĀ without eliminating future contenders for the only champions to have ever held a title in the respective weight classes.
