On Saturday, Aug. 31, the UFC hosted its 15th event on ESPN+ from the Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen, China.

In the night’s main event, women’s strawweight queen Jessica Andrade put her belt on the line against China’s Weili Zhang. The Brazilian Andrade earned the belt with a violent, second-round slam knockout of Rose Namajunas in May. Zhang was yet to taste defeat inside the Octagon, reeling off three straight victories.

In the co-main event, Li Jingliang fought in his homeland against Brazil’s Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos, who was on a seven-fight winning streak.

The preliminary card aired live on ESPN at 3 a.m. ET. The night’s main card followed at 6 a.m. ET on ESPN+.
