WSOF 35 Features Championship Tripleheader on March 18

World Series of Fighting’s 35th event has a date, location and three title match-ups.

WSOF 35 will take place Saturday, March 18 from the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y.

In the night’s main event, heavyweight champion Blagoy Ivanov clashes with UFC veteran Shawn Jordan. The Bulgarian Ivanov captured WSOF gold in his promotional debut at WSOF 21 in 2015. The 30-year-old has defended the belt twice since. Jordan, meanwhile, will be competing in his second bout for the promotion. He stopped Ashley Gooch at WSOF 33 in October.

The co-main event will feature featherweight titleholder Lance Palmer, who takes on former Titan FC champion Andre Harrison. Palmer regained the belt at WSOF 32 in July, exacting revenge against Brazilian Alexandre Almeida who had taken the title from him in the pair’s previous meeting. Harrison made his promotional debut on New Year’s Eve at WSOF 34, submitting Bruce Boyington in the first round.

Finally, the promotion’s vacant bantamweight title will be on the line between Bekbulat Magomedov and Timur Valiev. The two Dagestani fighters were both in action last at WSOF 33, defeating Jesse Brock and Chris Gutierrez, respectively.

The night’s main card will air live on NBCSN at 11 p.m. ET, with the preliminary card streaming at 8 p.m. ET. More bouts for the event are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
