LFA 1 Results: Higo Outworks Peterson, Claims Bantamweight Belt

On Friday, Jan. 13, Legacy Fighting Alliance – the joint promotion between Legacy Fighting Championship and Resurrection Fighting Alliance – hosted its inaugural event from the Bomb Factory in Dallas.

In the night’s main event, the promotion’s bantamweight title was on the line as Legacy FC champion Steven Peterson clashed with RFA titleholder Leandro Higo. Peterson entered the contest having won six straight, including a fourth-round finish of Manny Vazquez at Legacy 56. Higo, meanwhile, rode a seven-fight winning streak, including three straight in the RFA cage. He most recently submitted Joey Miolla at RFA 37.

The night’s main card aired live on AXS TV at 10 p.m. ET. Above are video highlights of the event (courtesy of LFA).
