Shar is a Midwestern emergency room nurse by trade but has had a long love of combat sports. A childhood boxing fan, Shar found her true loves after seeing her first Pride and K-1 matches. Shar began her writing career at Whoatv,com and later became a staff writer at Liverkick.com where she interviewed many of the biggest names in the business from 2014-2018. She can be seen at kickboxing/Muay Thai events all over the world, often with her mother and/or son, both of whom are also combat sports enthusiasts.
