Super Lightweight Logan Yoon: Seeking the Golden Contract

MTK Global, in association with Top Rank Boxing, continues The Golden Contract tournament on Friday, Nov. 22 from York Hall, in London, England.

The event will features a number of top boxing prospects and established fighters. The quarterfinals of the super-lightweight division will bring fierce competitors, including top American prospect Logan Yoon. Yoon, dubbed “Korican Kid,” holds a perfect 16–0 record with 12 knockouts from his home in Hawaii to the UK.

“[Logan’s] just a small little boy that started boxing to stay busy during summer to play football. That was really the beginning,” said George Yoon.

The Korican Kid is ready to break out into the international scene. From the outside looking in, Logan seems quiet and reserved, but unleashes his strengths in the ring. The transformation from the kid in the gym to fighter in the ring is night and day. Born in 1998, Logan keeps a level of maturity about him that makes him a special contender in the boxing world.

Top Rank founder Bob Arum on the tournament, “The winner of the Golden Contract will establish himself as a force in the super-lightweight division.”
