On Saturday, Nov. 3, the UFC will host UFC 230: Cormier vs. Lewis from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
In the night’s main event, the promotion’s current light heavyweight and heavyweight titleholder, Daniel Cormier, puts his heavyweight belt on the line against surging contender Derrick Lewis. The bout will mark the first defense for Cormier, who captured his second title with a first-round knockout of Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 in July. Lewis, meanwhile, enters the title challenge having won nine of his last 10 bouts in the Octagon. He most recently defeated former Bellator MMA champion Alexander Volkov at UFC 229 with a thrilling, come-from-behind knockout in the bouts waning seconds.
The 13-fight event kicks off with four bouts streaming live on UFC Fight Pass at 6:15 p.m. ET. Four additional preliminary-card bouts follow on Fox Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET, with the five-fight main card airing live on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
