On Saturday, Sept. 30, Enfusion returned for Enfusion Live #53.
In the evening’s main event, No. 2-ranked lightweight Superbon Banchamek made his Enfusion debut against top-10 lightweight Mohamed Khamal.
The co-main event saw Jahfarr Wilnis put his Enfusion heavyweight title on the line against top-10 light heavyweight Luis Tavares. Wilnis won the belt against Ismael Lazaar in February of 2016. Tavares is the current Enfusion light heavyweight champion. Tavares, 26, owns victories over top fighters Redouan Cairo, Lorenzo Javier Jorge, Fred Sikking and Mohamed Boubkari.
Elsewhere on the card, Mohammed Jaraya returned against Yassin Baitar following the controversy at Enfusion Live #49, where he punched a judge. Top 72.5-kilogram fighters Tayfun Ozcan battled with Redouan Laarkoubi, and Morocco’s Nordin Ben Moh clashed with Portugal’s Diogo Neves.
The event aired live at 3 p.m. ET on Enfusion Live PPV. Check back following the event for the full results.
