With injuries in the past, we have a phenomenal show.

Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima (@PhenomLima) joined Jason Kelly (@JayKellyMMA) and guest co-host MMA Sucka’s Matt Parker on Rear-Naked Choke Radio to discuss his healthy return to the game, his upcoming opponent, WMMA and his arch nemesis.

Audio available for download on iTunes or on Stitcher Radio

Lima is scheduled to meet Andrey Koreshkov at Bellator 140 and defend his welterweight title. While “The Phenom” is anxious to get back in the cage and battle the deserving Russian opponent, there’s a combatant the American Top Team product can’t wait to get his hands on.  Lima, as respectful as he is towards as his upcoming opponent, doesn’t have such kind words for Paul Daley. He is willing to meet the British kickboxer in the MMA realm, or the squared circle of GLORY.

Lima also spoke on UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo pulling out of UFC 189, his thoughts on a possible match between UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey fighting Invicta FC featherweight queen Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino and his brother Dhiego’s release from the UFC.

Beyond what Lima had in store, MMA Sucka’s Matt Parker released some of his upcoming plans, which may or may not include a new podcast and even a Twitter account.

It was a revealing episode to say the least.
