Legacy FC 43 Results: Krantz Crushes Larson, Volkmann Chokes Ottow

On Friday, July 17, Legacy Fighting Championship held its 43rd event from the Grand Casino Hinckley Hotel in Hinckley, Minn.

In the night’s main event, UFC veteran Brock Larson took on Derrick Krantz for the promotion’s vacant welterweight title. Larson, who had also competed for ONE Championship, RFA and WEC, had won four of his last five outings. His lone loss came in the finals of the BattleGrounds MMA one-night tournament. Krantz, meanwhile, had become a staple of the Legacy cage. He’d won four of his six appearances with the promotion, including two straight.

The co-main event also featured another UFC veteran, Jacob Volkmann. He faced Zak Ottow in a welterweight contest.
