VFC Fight Night 2 Results: Moreno Stops Houston, McCall Taps Cochrane

On Saturday, June 6, Victory Fighting Championship hosted its second Fight Night event from Harrah’s at Stir Concert Cove in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

In the night’s main event, longtime veteran Victor Moreno clashed with former UFC combatant Brian Houston. Moreno entered the contest riding a three-fight winning streak that included two, first-round finishes. Houston, meanwhile, was looking to snap a three-fight skid that saw his release from the UFC.

The co-main event of the evening featured a lightweight clash between Nebraska’s Dakota Cochrane and Colorado transplant Steele McCall. Cochrane was hoping to rebound from a submission loss to Ryan Couture under the Bellator MMA banner, while McCall hoped to get back in the win column after suffering a TKO loss to Tony Sims in his last outing.
