KSW 40: Dublin Results: Pudzianowski Decisions Silva, Materla Takes Out Thiago

On Sunday, Oct. 22, Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki traveled to Dublin, Ireland for the first time in promotional history, for KSW 40: Dublin.

In the night’s main event, popular former Polish bodybuilder Maruisz Pudzianowski took on Bellator veteran Jay Silva. Pudzianowski has won two straight and six of his past eight fights, including stoppages in three of those wins. Silva replaced James McSweeney on short notice. Elsewhere on the main card, unbeaten lightweight champion Mateusz Gamrot attempted to defend his title against former UFC fighter Norman Parke, former KSW lightweight champion Maciej Jewtuszko battled Respect FC champ David Zawada, and former middleweight kingping Michał Materla fought former top-10 fighter Paulo Thiago.
