On Friday, July 7, Fight Nights Global traveled to the FSK Sports Complex in Ulan-Ude, Russia, for Fight Nights Global 70.

In the evening’s main event, UFC veteran and former WSOF titleholder Rousimar “Toquinho” Palhares made his Fight Nights debut against Russia’s own Alexei Ivanov. Palhares had lost back-to-back fights since leaving World Series of Fighting with the welterweight title. Ivanov had won five straight before his most recent fight, in which he lost to ROAD FC veteran Gennadiy Kovalev.

The event aired live on MATCH TV (Russia).
