On Sunday, March 21, the K-1 group hosted K-1 World GP 2020 Japan K’Festa.4 Day.1 from the Tokyo Garden Theater in Tokyo, Japan.
In the night’s main event, Yuuki Egawa defended his 58-kilogram title against Tatsuya Tsubakihara. The pair met in September in a non-title bout and Tsubakihara stunned the third-ranked super flyweight on the scorecards. They ran it back with the belt on the line.
Gold was also on the line in the co-main event as Hideaki Yamazaki defended his 65-kilogram title for the first time against Fukashi Mizutani. Yamazaki earned the belt with a first-round knockout of Rukiya Anpo in September.
