RISE World Series 2019 Final Round Results: Tenshin Dominates Shiro, Shiratori Stops Umeno

On Monday, Sept. 16, RISE traveled to Chiba, Japan, for the RISE World Series 2019 Final Round, which featured two tournament finals in the 61-kilogram and 58-kilogram divisions.

In the night’s main event, the RISE 58-kilogram world series was decided when undefeated Japanese kickboxing phenom Tenshin Nasukawa met Shiro.

In the co-main event, top-ranked 61-kilogram competitor Taiju Shiratori knocked out former Rajadamnern stadium champion Genji Umeno in the first round.

Also, RISE champions collided when 53-kilogram titleholder Toki Tamaru faced 55-kilogram champion Masahiko Suzuki.

The event aired live at 12:45 a.m. ET on Fite TV and Abema TV (Japan).
